The George Hospital in the Garden Route faced significant service pressure due patients requiring critical care treatment due to COVID-19. As a show of their appreciation and support, Silverguard Textiles donated a large amount of antimicrobial masks to patients who have received treatment in the COVID-19 ward as well as the children’s ward as part of the George Hospital Trust’ #masksforgeorge project.

Silverguard Textiles also extended their support to other charity organizations in the area by donating masks to the careworkers at the Groenkloof Retirement Village, to the “Kingswoods Ladies that Care”, Bethesda Medical Relief Services, the “Hoenderhokke” project and Phambili Refuge for Women and Children.

Let’s work as a collective to support our communities and make South Africa healthy again.
